Disciplines

Piano

All levels of piano are taught: from beginner through to ARCT. For the young child: 3 - 6, you may select either small group classes or private lessons. However, for students ages 7 to adult, only private lessons are available. We offer the Royal Conservatory of Music program or other methods you might choose. Please note, you do require an instrument on which to practice between lessons.

Voice

If you have always wanted to sing, take this step to fulfill your desire! Lessons can be structured to prepare for voice exams, or simply for your own pleasure. Choir is currently not offered, only private lessons.

Violin

Lessons are offered privately only. We teach note reading as opposed to rote playing. Here, too, we prepare for RCM exams or not, as you choose. If you need to be sized for the correct instrument, we are pleased to be able to provide that service.

Guitar

Private lessons are offered. Once note reading and other skills are firmly established, all students will also have ensemble classes to develop the ability to play in a small band. We are happy to guide you in the purchase of an instrument if this is required.

Theoretical Subjects

All levels of theory are taught. These can be taken privately or in a class, during the summer or during the course of the school year. We prepare for the RCM examinations as well as college entry exams.
